My brother-in-law is to blame, he was the project manager at Turner Construction for the NYU building project that now sits atop the CBGB site, he's the guy who tore down CBGBs, I remind him every time I see him that I'm not happy.

Perhaps you mean The Palladium. That was turned into NYU dorms. CBGB wasn’t torn down. It closed & a clothing store is there & a homeless organization is on top.
