Awesome! The color is yet debatable😂Imo every atempt to restore and keep old Machinery alive and at work is a good thing! I have about 30 small to big containers to seperate diverent stages and partsections of a project while cleaning/repair. this keeps it easyer to put it back together..

First video of yours I saw was the how and why you got to do this video. When you said you could do anything if you put your mind to it, THAT rang a bell, exacctly what I believe too and have since I was a boy back in the 60'ies and 70'ies. Back then all I was told was : You can't do that, you're just a boy or later , you are not trained for that. If your mind is set to do what it takes YOU CAN. Wish I had a workshop like yours. So many ideas and projects in my head. Your dedication will prevail and make this channel grow. Awesome Lucia.

Old Soviet machine, i bet it is 1/3 heavier than western counterpart. I grow up with western and eastern metalworking machines and people from the west do not realize that eastern European and Soviet lathes, milling machines, grinders.... are on average better build than western one. There are some superb built machines from Rhula, WMW, Avia, TOS, Bullmak, Potisje, Prvomajska and Stankoimport branded ones. Keep up the good work. I have noticed that you also have nice tool room milling machine from Soviet times.

@luciasworkshop2 жыл бұрын

You should build yourself a wash tank for electrolysis, make your restoration projects a bit quicker. For small pieces, a car battery charger provide sufficient charge to strip rust from pieces.

These employed a lot of guys. I had a friend that worked on one one and then one day they informed him he was being replaced with the automated. They said he could keep his job running the automated one, but he wanted no part of it and retired. That was back when things were still being maufactured in the US. Things made in Chicago were considered to of the highest quality and people were happy and life was good. So what exactly is the economic engine there now?
