This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 Coupe has everything that a Corvette collector looks for: a numbers matching LT1 drivetrain, California history, and loads of supporting paperwork! Under the hood on this '71 Corvette is the numbers matching 350 Cubic Inch LT1 V8 motor with a Holley 4 Barrel Carburetor, aluminum intake, and mechanical solid lifters, that pushes out 330 horsepower. The Muncie M21 4 Speed Manual Close Ratio Transmission is also numbers matching and makes this classic Corvette a really fun car to drive and enjoy. With an "AA" coded 3.55:1 Positraction rear end, you can be sure that the rubber sticks to the pavement on this LT1 'Vette. Additionally, the 4-wheel power disc brakes make stopping easy. The exterior Steel Cities Grey paint (988 code) on the fiberglass body of this 1971 Corvette is in excellent condition and is the original color for the car. The chrome on this Corvette is in fantastic, show-worthy condition. The 15x8 Rally Rims with raised letter Daytona tires finishes the exterior look on this '71 Corvette. The 403 Code Black Leather Bucket Seat Interior is correct for the car and looks great! The dash, gauges and steering wheel are in very nice shape as well and appear to be stock for the car. The removable T-Tops are also in great shape. This 1971 'Vette also comes with a factory rear window defroster which is one of the most unusual factory options we've ever come across on any classic Corvette. Perhaps the biggest highlight for this car is its history and supporting documentation. Included with the sale is the original tank sheet for the car which has been verified by the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS). The NCRS Shipping Data Report also reveals that the original GM production date for this Corvette was 3/12/1971.
