Good stuff Shawn! The only point I’d make is not welding across the subframe. I’d prefer the weld direction only with the length direction.That’s why they use a diamond fletching plate on frame stretching. It keeps the weld from going at a right angle across the stressed member , but that’s kinda picking the fly specks out of the pepper. Really not that much stress from the load it will see. Keep the videos coming and watch the subscribers keep growing!

Love your videos. The pride in your work stands out. Say, is it just me or is the rear frame rail bent at what seems to be a crumple zone? Maybe it was hit in the rear before? Does it even matter? Starting at 2:47

In the cars history it had a poorly replaced left quarter panel for unknown reasons, but there is no evidence of the damage getting that far in seen while replacing it again. The right side has similar ripples but the lighting wasn’t as focused. Thanks for watching, love the input from different sets of eyes!

Yeah what's going on man your work looks good I'm about To make a shot relocation cross member like you did , question how much higher do you think it lifted the back of the car ? because of where your shocks are now upper shock tabs,also sorry about the you tube name my son did it

It didn’t lift the car, the shocks just dampen the ride. The name made me chuckle!

I am working on a 72 Nova and I am tubbing it and my next step is to either buy the shock relocation cross member from POL or simply make it but I like how yours looks compared to the Bolt on POL cross member kinda looks junkie the POL one
