Our family had a '72 Newport Custom, same colors inside and out but with a front bench seat with the built in head rests and a 2 bbl 400 cu in gas hog. Beautiful car. We drove it from the Canal Zone to Texas to Ohio and back in the summer of '72. We were returning through Costa Rica when we t-boned a white Corolla that had run a light. There were no injuries. When we saw how the Corolla had its side caved-in we figured our car would be spending some time in the shop. Wrong. It was a Chrysler, built like a tank. We finished the trip back through CR and Panama looking like that collision never happened. They don't make cars like that anymore.

My mom had one of these. I'll never forget the air cleaner housing had a sticker on it that read "Interceptor". Those were the days ---- 16 years old, screaming down US 64 at 120 not wearing seatbelts....

440 cu inch v8 . Weighed about 5000 lbs but the ride was nice on those land yachts. Pass everything except a gas station.

Yes, well put, I've got a 73 T- Bird 429 4 bbl and I find myself at the gas station quite often but it's worth it.

How could a 28k mile car interior be that destroyed?

Mr. Hahn from Florida didn't buy your 75 Ford Ltd. He passed away without cause. 😢 The Hahn Family Clearwater Beach Florida Sand keys.

I’m so sorry to hear that, sending thoughts and prayers to your family. My dad, Steve, owner of Thompson Family Motors, passed away last October of pancreatic cancer.

LOL they said you didn't need to touch the peddle that it would "kick right over", well then why did the guy driving it depress the peddle after they cut the car off? You can see this at 10:25 and a few seconds after. They depressed the peddle, lol. I would like to have seen it before the paint "touch ups" , from where that damn dog had been laying on the door, LOL! I'd say that is a 128,000 miles. Odometers didn't even register the 100K digit back then, easy now for them to say that but years ago once the odometer overturned you knew it was a 100K+ mile car.
