I built a 72 resto mod but I stayed with a more classic look. Cragar 18 inch wheels, 350 fulie with 350HP, 5 spd manual, high perf suspension, side pipes, leather, Ac power everything. I daily drive it runs like a top.

The early C3s are the only Vette that looks absolutely gorgeous no matter what you do to it. Even a resto mod. That says a lot. You can't restomod a C2 or C1.

Well you are wrong! Porsche had a patent on the word "targa" top so gm just used the abbreviated "t" top. It has nothing to do with the T shape of the support on the top of the bird cage.(you do know what that is , right,?) I have owned , bought , restored over 40 c3 corvettes. I dont claim to know everything about them but on this one subject i am telling you that i am right. Call it what you want. I dont care! Do some research.

@Hamilton Rodgers​ now that's the second person you've tried to "correct" on the subject. Do a little homework first next time please. You are WRONG on this subject. GM couldn't call it a "targa" top because Porsche already had a patent on the name. They called it a "t-top" instead (the design was still a ONE PIECE "targa" top at this point. They LATER discovered excess body flex and put the center bar in for support and made 2 separate tops for the final production design.

"We removed the T-tops and made it a targa top car." Lol, he does know the "T" in "T-top" stands for...wait for it...Targa top... I think he means he removed the cross bar... GM wasn't allowed to call it "Targa" because Porsche already had the name. The cross brace they added for support has nothing to do with the name. And for God's sake please stop doing this to these cars. The workmanship is first rate but the car looks fucking hideous with those wheels. The size and offset is completely wrong and the style looks retarded on this car.

+Dan P there are plenty of other wheels besides the stock 15" wheels that would look so much better on this car. Those look like some hood in the ghetto was blinging out his Impala. And the offset is COMPLETELY wrong. The wheels sit so far inside the fenders. Why? It just looks stupid. Money can't buy taste...

sidefx996 ya I guess you don't get it. I'm guessing the wheels are staggered that's why front tucked in more then the rear. My mistake their tucked not flushed most like it so I guess most get it.

sidefx996 this is nothing like those cars with 30" chrome wheels where they have to lift the car to fit wheels. This I would say is a pro tour look where wheels are tucked it's a different look compares to those impalas with 30" wheels, now that I would never understand.
