One problem with the D100 truck bed is you can't lock the tail gate unless you use ugly ass latches , however one way I locked it is at the original latch bolt located on the tailgate itself what I did was unscrewed the bottom latch bolt took a 1/8 thick about 1 inch flat peice of metal and positioned it where it would hit the bed metal once its bolted on the bottom latch bolt cut or drill a vertical slit into the bed metal (yes it will be close to the end) about 1 inch long ,so when you close the tailgate the metal that is bolted to the latch goes through the vertical slit, however you have to cut some metal off where you mount it on the gate so it sits flush against the gate. Then close the gate once your done drill a hole for your pad lock on the mounted peice install lock and your done

What is that bench seat out of or is that an original seat? I have a 42 that I am building and it didn't come with a seat so I am looking for ideas what I can use that will fit good
