Amazing how these 70's Ford trucks are becoming more and more popular. Love how the younger generation are interested in them as well. Reminds of my uncles early 70's Ford he had in the 80's riding in the back of it in TN.

I had the same truck except I had the F-100, same color...O'l Yeller" . I loved that truck for 33 years. Rebuilt the 360 in 1991 and finally sold it in 2016...owned for 33 years. Now..I own a 1970 F-250. I love this generation of Ford trucks.

what size piping is this on the exhaust? It probably sounds well from the inside the cab with those glasspacks.

Doesn't sound too bad but it was load. I see you watched my other video where I install the LMC system. It sounds great now!

Hi there. Going to look at a 72 4x4 4 speed in a few days. Anything specific I should check? Owner said pretty bad rust on the "drip line."
@yeboscrebo44514 жыл бұрын
Rust in the A pillars is a red flag. Rust in the drip line can be annoying to fix. I did pretty extensive surgery on mine last year in the drip line corner. If you can weld you can fix it though. Get underneath and check the floor pans - those are often rusted and will need to be replaced. Also if there's damage to the end tips of the bed where the taillight assemblies go, that's really hard to fix. They haven't sold that section of the bed until recently and even if you purchase it, it's very difficult to get all the pinch welds cut on your bed without making things worse. You're better off finding a junkyard bed and cutting the piece off of that. That's what I had to do. Lots of work. Check the cab corners and the cab mounts, those are frequently Swiss-cheesy. Also check the frame alignment by driving behind it.

When looking/listening to the motor in the engine bay of you’re truck I hear a knock. Mine does the exact same but a lot worse. What could that be?
@CTmoog5 жыл бұрын
Not sure really...Could be the valves or the water pump. What year is your truck?
@stevek59884 жыл бұрын
Sounds like the water pump, something in front. Not internal
