I have a '76 & the smiles & thumbs up & "nice car," or, "i love your car,' are constant when i have it ut out. There was even a guy one time at an opposite stop light that was bouncing and clapping in his seat. These cars have the ability to bring up very good memories for people. Im basically driving happiness around ❤

To be honest, I'm tearing up a little bit. My grandfather owned one of these. We only took i tout for special occasions, but every time he always put an arm around me and said "This car is going to be yours." I ended up selling it to help me move into my first apartment, and I miss that car to his day. So many memories attached to it.

dad had a 63 Merc, complete with 352 BIG block in her. The main difference between a small bock and a big block is the distance between the dead center of each bore.

Good news is many of the parts shown as weathered on this wagon are reproduced. You can buy the armrests, the window cranks, the door handles inside and out, the door lock knobs, the dash pad, things like that. The new owner (in Germany) should have little trouble sourcing this stuff. Now if only we 4-door Torino owners could get Steele Rubber or someone to reproduce the roof rail weatherstripping for sedans/wagons! I'm about to buy my third 4-door Torino and need SOMETHING!

My '85 Regal did this a couple times. Pumping the gas like that usually doesn't work. Especially if it has been sitting there for days or whenever the outside temp changes from mildly cold to fridgid cold fast. Turn the key and at the same time gradually add more and more pressure to the gas pedal until you touch the floor and after holding it all the way down for a few seconds.. it eventually should go VVVVVVVVVRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh, a little FORD-101,Is in mind,here.. The 260,289,302-251 W.were built in Windsor,,Thus, The designation.. The 351 CLEVELAND,was built,in,of course,Cleveland,Ohio,plant..The 351M400, was built in Midland..Hence,the M designation..NOOO It doesn"t stand,for Modified!! You can tell,a cleveland,from,a midland,by the bell housing pattern,,The Cleveland,shared the small-block pattern,While,The Midland,used the 429-460 bell housing pattern..

The Cleveland is a big small block, no way its a big block. Ford big blocks start with the 427

In What aspect!?? With the MIDLAND- you ,not only get the superior valve arrange ment,of the Cleveland,,But- You Also, get a beefier crank,AND- the 429-460 bell housing bolt pattern!! Believe me-It"s almost, impossible,to find a "small-Block" C-6,nowadays!!..And, A C-4 will not hold up,even to a STOCK 351 Cleveland,And- there"s no such thing,as a Big-Block,C-4...Just saying...

I love it,,,,but the Cleveland was not a big block, its ugly cousin the 400 often was referred to as a big block. But they were all 335 series engine's, yep complicated 😂.
