Thanks for the comments guys. I put it together a couple years ago and it drove through the 904 transmission during testing then sat in my garage. I upgraded to a 727 and swapped an 8 1/4 in place of the 7 1/4 rear. Also converted to manual steering and installed different turbo drains, feed lines and a newer msd box.

I gotta ask.. .how difficult was to hook up 2 turbos?...I love to know...I'm in process of a R3W8 motor and love to do this and close my hood with no scoops on it...its a 69 340 swinger

I love Valiants and Dodge Darts, my first car was a 67 Valiant my sister gave me after she blew the slant 6 up. i shoe horned a 383 into it. fortunately i had a friend that worked in a junk yard so i had my choice of auto parts.

I loved my 72 Plymouth Valiant 4 door! 318 automatic. I did some real Dukes of Hazard stuff in that baby. I would love to find another. Man I love your car, envy... good video too. I owned mine in the late 90's.

I prefer the 2 door version of this car but, the sedan is really growing on me. I'm seriously thinking of flying to the states and buying one of these, then mail it back to myself.
@timothykeith13673 жыл бұрын
I believe it is possible to convert the 4 door Valiant sedan to a 2 door sedan of the '67 to '69 style. Because the Dart was offered in a hardtop for not much more than the 2-door post Valiant, the '67 to '69 Valiant 2 doors are hard to find.

Now that is what a sleeper is supposed to look like !!! No extra tire not looking 100 percent on the paint and body nice hub cap missing and fairly quiet !! She’s perfect even in that over used green that Dodge had a whole lot of .

What motor is it? I dig the sleeper thing. I had a brown, 4 door 73 galaxie with a 429 and single turbo. Widened stock steel wheels and original hubcaps out back. It ran a best of 10.49 @ 129.
@burlapenfilms69427 жыл бұрын
Jeff E that's flying! I bet that was a blast. This was a stockish 318. Never really turned the wick up to see what it would do. I didn't want to hurt the motor before I sold it.
@buckykattguitar7 жыл бұрын
Burlapen Films my 429 was built with forced induction in mind. That 1/4 time was with a 4300 pound curb weight and running 100 octane Sunoco pump gas. With the 116 and the boost cranked to 18 pounds, I couldn't get enough traction.
@Brad3556 жыл бұрын
hey man i know this is pretty old but ive recently got a scamp with a low comp smog era 318. I'm thinking about going turbo route, did you have to fab your own headers up?

Duey Jones I don't recall seeing any a body 8 3/4 in the junkyards here ever. 8 1/4's pop up every now and again. They are plenty strong for what I was doing with this car. Small tire and all.

Hey man love your build can you give me specs on what mm turbos your running and psi? Also what did you do the block and what heads? Thanks!
@burlapenfilms69428 жыл бұрын
kevin steiner Thanks. Commenting from my other account because I lost access to the gtx6pak account. The turbos were Nissan T3's I never measured the actual size. They had internal wastgates that limited it to about 8 lbs. You can easily install a bleed valve to up the boost but I never did. Completely stock internals and heads. Small summit can. Performer I take. There is a build thread on the turbo forums under "more door valiant"
