In this video, I start removing the death foam from the rear vents on my 1972 T1 Volkswagen Beetle. I also make the body stand and find a sweet collection of vehicles I will be purchasing.

Thanks man! Sadly I won't be keeping any of them. I'd love to have an oval but they are going to need a ton of love to be road worthy again so I'll pass them on to someone who is looking for a project. Just glad to save them from sitting and rotting away.

Thanks! Yeah it's a good idea to do on these newer bugs. If I had left mine it would have rusted out in no time.

@@VWBrennidon I noticed the foam on yours was still soft. Mine was super crispy and soaked. I already had rust so I needed to do it quick

Hey Bren, Great job buddy, This ones not too bad all things considered, like you say sand blast the areas that need it, I would then Kurust it in there where the foam was , now im heading over to see that bug intro, best wishes with that scoop man, you really have found a tresure trove from the sounds of it , cant wait to see the action from this haul. well done buddy👌

at that point they were throw away cars. so they didnt care if it rusted out. and they sure did.
