His voice and style are very similar to the Lakers great PA announcer of 40 years Lawrence Tanter. Classy and professional. Steele was also PA announcer for a while for the Raiders and Warriors. The greatest.

I used to live in the bay area. Going to all those games. I remember all those great A's and Raider's teams. Roy Steele truly great. Oakland bad and incompetent city government lost all Oakland teams to greener pastures. Sad!
