Cold start up

You made a mistake on startup - the 2002tii's start-valve makes it unnecessary to blip the throttle and the accelerator should be left untouched until a few seconds after start.

It's not running perfectly! New 2002 owners don't seen to understand that the lifters need to be adjusted (manually) about every couple thousand miles.Sorry, but the Engine sounds like a broken sewing machine that's screaming for oil.Adjust the lifters before you have camshaft love wear,if not already!! I just bought my 3rd 2002 and one of the first things I did was Adjust the Lifters!! Hope I got thru! Chris.

Looks like a spectacular car. Seems to have a very slight misfire, I would check the plugs. To be perfect, the air intake should be matte not glossy, and the painted aluminum valve cover and intake is not my style...but this is splitting hairs on a beautiful car. Nice! I have an Agave '73 Tii

i think the idel speed is a bit high. i think perhaps the timing is slightly off. a turn of the distributor i think would make it vibrate less and reduce the idel speed.
