The 700R4 transmission was not available in that year. The 400 turbo 3 speed was the transmission available at the time.

Looks like they swapped in a later tuned port injection small block so the 700 probably came with it.

Nice car. Passenger side headlight slow to raise.... vacuum leak?? Missing the emblems above the side gills behind the front wheels. Missing the front emblem and rear lettering. But, she's still really nice!
