1973 Kawasaki H2, Carl's Last Ride & Wheelie. Carl always wanted to buy the 1973 H2A from a guy he knows for decades but the owner never wanted to sell it. By the time the owner ready to sell, Carl only had a short time to live because of his terminal cancer. However, Carl went ahead and bought the 1973 Kawasaki Gold H2A to fulfill his dream. He put on about 100 miles and I was there to witness my friend's incredible last ride and wheelie. He was living his dream with his final wish. RIP Carl.

Greetings from across the pond from a UK triple owner, both in the 70's and still now. The video made me smile to see him on the H2, hope his good times roll on where ever he is now.

I had a 500 triple around 1978 it was the fastest ɓike I ever had I beat a few 900s when they came out my 500 had all kinds of trick work done to the transmission and the heads had alot of porting and the bike sounded so good with the expansion chambers on it.

Hello YT! Sorry to learn Carl passed a while back. Upon your suggestion a few years ago, I put my '77 RD400 back to stock w/pipes, jets and airbox and it runs a lot better for daily riding. It had 220 main jets in it. Way too much fuel. Several months ago, I bought a pristine ground up restored stock '75 GT750 like the one (partially restored) in this video. It's a wide, thirsty, heavy beast but thrives on the highway. Hope all is well and maybe we'll bump into each other in person sometime. Jason who also lives in P-town.

My brother in law built the ultimate 73 H2 750. He put an 800 kit and had all the gears cut by a racing team out of LA . The times I rode it , it was pulling 3rd gear wheels @ 80 MPH with my chest getting slammed into by the gas tank, not sure when it was coming up in 4th, I knew there was nothing on the street that could touch it. The main problem with those bikes was they put a 19” wheel in the front and they over steered the corners. The Mach3 500 ,Ported & polished, bad ass chamber pipes , I used to ride, nothing but that H2 would beat it….those were the late 70’s & early 80’s and we were insane with power & speed & back mountain roads… yes there were injuries to friends & deaths in cars…I’m 63 and still go into triple digits & front wheel off the ground almost every day I ride my ZX6….
