Available for viewing in our showroom now is this lovely low mileage, low owner MG Midget 1275 finished in period Bronze Yellow. Having covered just 22,000 miles from new with an extensive history to back this up, the car was supplied locally and was in the same family from 1974 to 2019. Since then, the car has been cherished by a young lady with a strong passion for classic cars who has been fortunate enough to have owned it since her 21st birthday. Reluctantly, she is now having to part with it due to moving up to a beautiful classic Mercedes convertible.
The condition of the car inside and out is all original other than a respray costing £394 carried out in 2000 which has held up remarkably well to this day with only a pleasant patina showing the cars 50 years of age. There has been no welding at all and there is no underside corrosion. During lockdown in 2020 the engine was removed and both the engine bay and engine were stripped and resprayed to present a beautifully detailed engine bay which still looks fantastic and would cost a small fortune to replicate. The Rostyle wheels were sandblasted, painted and shod with new tyres at the same time.
The car has been fully serviced and more than regularly maintained over the past few years and performs perfectly on the road like only a low mileage, original car seems to achieve and this reluctant sale offers a unique opportunity for the next owner which I hope will be local to us.
With the car is an extensive history file confirming the low mileage. There are registration documents and service records going back to 1974 and a plethora of MOT certificates from the 80's.
