Clearly, Dharam ji is the one of the best actors in Bollywood. He truly was the best of them all. He was the one that attracted more people to theaters than anyone. In 1973 I was studying in Pune.Apne to pura college life hi mere samne khada kr diya.I had seen these all pictures.I remembers Bobby was biggest hit film.Second was janjir.But it went hit slowly like Daag.Raj,Dilip,Dev, Rajendra,Shammi, Sunil all were forgotten by public. Only Dharmendra was big hero.Rajesh was going down.Still Amitabh was not big hero. So all chance went to Rakesh Bhai s favourite hero Dharmendra 😅😊

I have been binge-watching all these episodes, Rakesh ji and must say this is the first one that has disappointed me. Zanzeer and Bobby are both path-breaking films and I am glad you have made separate episodes on them but you should devote some time to them in these rankings too. Plz in future episodes even if you have made separate episodes for certain movies do not dismiss them by just telling us about their budget and box-office performance. YkiB is extremely entertaining but you gave it short-shrift too. These movies deserve much more respect.

From the list I have watched Aa Gale Lag Jaa only. I haven't watched other movies including zanjeer although it was one of the most popular movies and the one that made amitabh bachchan A list actor. But I only watched zanjeer, daag, bobby, etc in parts whej they used to run on television. Because i am 90s kid. I really enjoyed Aa gale lag jaa. It is also one of my mom's favorite movies. Even though you have separaetly posted on music of "BOBBY", it should have been mentioned here too. 1973 and 1974 "Bobby" songs stormed the nation.

YKB, Zanjeer, Dharma songs were equally popular, different people still remember YKB biggest Hit score, where as some recall "Yaari hai imaan mera" as biggest Hit song which was also no.1 in Binaca. Some people, masses from slum areas at that time recall Dharma as super hit songs. And many people recall that Bobby was a forced hit score, not real super hit because many of the listeners didn't like voice of Shailendra Singh and many audience of previous generation used to listen to SJ music for RK films couldn't appreciate Bobby style of music.
