1973 Triumph TR6 Restoration Project - part 1

I owned a 71 or 70 TR-6. Loved it. Ran good for the 4 yrs I owned it as a daily driver. Only had the rear gear housing mounts go I belive. I often dream of having it again or riding in it. I could never fit in again if I did I couldn't get out. Ha. I'm 6'2" and back in the 70's I weighed about 190lbs or so ..now 265 lbs. One night I worked all the night thru in a garage changeing the clutch out. I miss youth.. still going at it on other things.

Elin this series is amazing. Currently on part 35 - seatbelts. Your friend Tush helped me immensely and this Saturday, I pick up my first classic, a 76 TR6. Can't wait to learn about the car and having fun driving it. Keep up with the great vids!

Likely the speedo drive is kaput Elin. Dodgy weak 12v supply to the solenoid or is there some adjustment required? Looking forward to the solutions👍

Just think, I might have fitted the gearbox to that car when I worked at Standard Triumph in Coventry in 1973 !!!

Hmmm, no way! There wasn't a gearbox fitted in it. LOL it came separately.

Yeah, I don't really have time to pay more attention to the video editing and sometimes the volume levels are to close (background and narration). I need to improve my editing skills :) Just ordered new mic, as I am using the one on the laptop and most of the time you can also hear the processor fan. Well I didn't expect so much interest and didn't take the videos so seriously, but I think I have to get better in this direction too. Anyways, you didn't miss too much, just my broken English LOL
