fun watching how others do it. As someone who rebuilds those Corvettes, a suggestion - it's easier to de-bond the entire front end (then glue it back on) then it is to try to fiber a seam together....

Loved the video too! I just watched this and as a '73 C3 owner I would have much rather de-bonded the front end and removed the whole front clip. Make my repairs, and then glue it all back together, but that's because I'm better with glue than glass.

Why cut the fender? It is removable. It is little bit of work, but much better than cutting it. Damn!

Why didn't he remove the paint from the section he cut off? The likelyhood of that fiberglass patch actually lasting for any real duration is very low. He would have been better off removing the front clip than cutting the body like that. Even with a skilled body worker, that seam is still gonna show.
