A very nice truck! I bought a new 1975 Datsun truck as my first vehicle. 1975 was the first year of the 2000 c.c engine. The 1974 with the 1800 c.c engine was more powerful, because of the emissions crap on the '75 model. I was so frustrated with how slow it was, that I took it to a local speed shop, installed headers with a turbo muffler, and 2 1/4'' diameter exhaust all the way. That, with my own water induction system really woke up the engine! I could get it to chirp the tires going from 2nd to 3rd gear. One guy that had a Datsun remarked in amazement to say "how did you do that?" It was a very strong and reliable truck. I hated the drum brakes on the front, and the stupid add on, in the center top of the dash "EGR". The styling was gorgeous of the 72 1/2- 79' model years. If Nissan were to do a retro version with similar styling, they, imo, would be an extremely strong seller for them! Thanks for posting, enjoy your mighty fine truck, it looks great!!

nice truck we had them here in the uk, they had the bmc B series derived 1500cc petrol or gas engine as you guys call it .

I had one back in the 80s the guy I bought it from bought bought the rear glass at an after market accessory store . I belive it was called a flex window and if I remember correctly it said flex glass in little letters in the lower rear glass. And yes it was tinted glass that would flex, amazing. Glass that would flex without breaking. It wasn't plexiglass it was real glass. Good luck finding one. They look way cooler than the sliding glass windows l have never seen another one in my life other than my old truck or this one on the net. Very rare
