That is a sweet car for sure I love everything except the custom dash and that's only because I like the factory dash in cars but I must say he did a good job on that custom dash. I wish someone would make a good aluminum head for the slant 6 engine because many people are hot rodding them engines in the bottle neck slowing the power down is the head but if someone made a aftermarket head that flows great and that would be awesome because it would make a lot of slant 6 fans happy.

My goodness what a sweet little car. Never discount a bent 6 engine. They are near bullet proof and quick with the right gearing. Thanks for sharing this video.

I had a slant 6 1976 Dodge Aspen wagon 3speed on the floor with an overdrive, loved it and it was a wonderful engine. Car rotted around the engine and transmission which was still good at its end.

I have a 72 Duster with a slant six. Bright red color. It has 74000 original miles, and the engine has never been touched. It got passed down in my direction after my grandfather bought it in 72 barely drove it, when he died in 76, my brother bought it from my grandma, I when I bought it from my brother when I was 15 it had 54000 original miles. Its been parked for almost 40 years, cant wait to bring it out of storage. :) that will be a day I will never forget

The "Twister" option package was an appearance package. The idea was to give the appearance of a factory performance model that would carry the insurance ratings that younger buyers could afford. It began in 1971and was offered until 1973. As far as the cardboard trim in the trunk it was offered from 1973 through 1976 mainly on the higher trim levels like the Gold Duster and the Space Duster. The Space Duster had a fold flat rear seat that allowed the expansion of cargo space in the trunk. This is a confusing era for Chrysler vehicles as you could get multiple options packages on the same car. for instance a Gold Duster often had the Space Duster option package.
