Of course it reminds me of the 70s era IH Loadstar buses we road in school. They had power steering and those Allison automatics. I'll never forget their sound.

Those Loadstars were great trucks I H built them from 1962 to 1978 I had a 1964 loadstar 1600 I ran for 20 years. I mechanicd on a few of them over the years you could not find much wrong with them they were well engineered. The S series replaced the Loadstars and they were also very good.

I had a rat rod one that’s now sold. It was a dump truck. Yours is very nice 👍 I take it the squeaking is the power steering belt. Mine did that too. I have a video on my other channel of it. (engines and outdoors)

What motor and carburetor do you have in this nice truck? Do you have the MV404 with 2 barrell? What transmission? Rear End, 2 Speed? Top Speed? Rear End Ratio? Great Truck!!

I think a Diesel engine (like a 6.9L used in Ford F-Series pickup trucks) goes better with air brakes than a gas engine!
