I'm absolutely in love with this car. The oddities set it off. The interior is sick! And, the 455 doesn't hurt either. 10/10 would buy and daily drive🤷

Oh man, likewise. What a concept. Combining the luxurious touches of the Grand Prix with the slight performance edge of a Trans Am!

@@manher4335 they also had a beefed-up suspension and handled a lot better than anyone expected of the largest mid-size they ever made. Mine tipped the scales at 4200 lbs but I surprised more than a couple passengers with the stunts I put it through. 😵 It particularly liked the Jim Rockford u-turn...

Wow, that is a very interesting car... I've never seen cornering lights on even the Luxury LeMans, and never dreamed that any mid-size could have automatic climate control! Then they added factory tape & cruise, but not power windows, power locks, power seat, or rear defog. My '73 was the complete inverse: 400 2bbl, slick-top, regular a/c, no cruise or cornering lamps, but with all the power goodies & the larger Polycast wheels. It was still running well when I sold it at 270,000 miles...

I can tell you from experience, the 455 that year was a serious gas guzzler. Drop on some 6x heads, Ram AIr III cam and 750 CFM carb, and that engine will seriously come to life - and get better gas mileage, too! I do miss the days when gauges were labeled with words instead of goofy symbols. By the way, those "deluxe" front seats are super-comfy.
