My 74 dt360 had 148 psi conpression. Had the same carb issues. I rejetted three sized up on the pilot and one size on the main. Also reclipped the needle second from the bottom.

I am definitely interested in the 360 refresh I have two 1974 models myself in the standard green. I need to work on both. I like the refresh/rebuilds, thank you very much. Texas on the Prairie

Cool! I just got a jet kit to try and tune mine better. Check out the playlist for this bike here: kzbin.info/aero/PLiThBUYGGNylgpmFcZoxlEvJIvm4uOsDi I got it painted and running but it’s running very rich. I’ll be doing a short video probably soon on that…hopefully dialing it in. Thanks for tuning in and the input!

Awww, I liked that YZ yellow paint...oh well..

Sorry, but maybe I’ll find a yellow MX this year at vintage days to work on a future video! I like the yellow too, I just like putting things back to stock original if I have the ability to.

Everyone has to make that mistake with the floats at least once. I may have done it more than once. Good job!

Haha thanks! I had to leave it in for entertainment purposes as well!

I can’t find an old 360 in decent rebuild shape to save my @$$. Even a 250 or 400 would do. I either find piles of junk or solid gold “ collector grade”. Just looking for a fairly complete basket case I can resurrect over time. It’s my therapy so to speak and I miss my old 73 360mx. Just thinking an enduro like this is right up the wheel house. I’ve done cushmans, ct 90s LOTS of old HDs, a few old Suzuki 4 cylinders etc. this one evades me. I’m in west central FL if anyone has a line or maybe wants to trade something.

Do you have access to Facebook to use marketplace? That seems like it’s the best way to find bikes these days. Good luck with the hunt!

Thats a nice bike. I think I would take it out and get it dirty. Maybe make a riding video before you tear it up. I wont bust on you for the floats except to say, they aren't hollow either......🤣
@Garage2Trail2 жыл бұрын
Lol thanks…are the floats just solid plastic inside? I thought about doing a ride but the rear tube is shot and I need to get this this stripped real soon to get it to my friend that will be in town. I’m itching to open this up on the road to see if it revs smoothly and through the gears.

@@Garage2Trail Yeah, dont know what they are made of, probably nuclear waste. But they are solid. Blow up the tire and rip it.....🤠
@Garage2Trail2 жыл бұрын
Believe me I would…the stem is stuck down behind the rim unfortunately. Maybe I’ll just try to ride on the rock hard dry rotten tire lol
@Garage2Trail2 жыл бұрын
@@will7its you've inspired me to ride it before taking it apart lol....its got a rear flat and I cant get that stem up to try and pump up, but its stiff enough to let me go up and down the road at least...and maybe some light woods work....look for that video soon!

@@Garage2Trail Can you pull it out with needlenose pliers and get some air in it? Ill watch for the video. Thanks
