I know this is an older video, but what fuel tank did you use? Is that the tank from an 87 88 ford bronco II? Could I get a part number for that?

Um this truck is neither a Ranger or a highboy. That is an F-series truck and a highboy is a fenderless convertible 30s era car. Seriously man

umm if u look at the brown truck he used as a parts truck you can clearly see the ranger badge on the back of box. they used the term "highboy" from 1965-1977 because of the negative arch in the leaf springs. and the term highboy for thirties ford cars is a hot rodders slang for the way the rear ends set. and cars didn't come from the factory fender less. learn to use google

@@jasonbogart7566 I didn't say highboys came from the factory fenderless there brain surgeon. Yes it is hot rodder slang. There is no term "highboy" for a F series truck factory or off road slang. Where the hell you become up with spring type names is beyond me. I was a Ford mechanic at yes a Ford dealership and here simply is no made up name or factory name "highboy" for a Ford truck, period. The term Ranger was for a local variant of the F-series that must be used following the the term F-150, 250 ect. It is a trim type not a model. I'm 57 and worked for Ford for many years at yes, a dealership. Possibly a little research on Google would help. Just because you put it on u-tube doesn't make it true.

Matthew Moilanen high boy is a common term associated with the 70s models f-series trucks with a factory lift. I hear these call dent sides and highboys far more often then the old convertibles of the past. They both carry the name and it seems to be that there are more of these trucks left then the cars anymore. Ranger was also a trim for the F-series long before the compact pick-up. Explorer was also a trim at one point I believe.
