A few dash lights and the turn signal indicators were out on my 1975 Lincoln Continental. Looks like I have to tear apart the dash to fix them.

If I had $10 for every time I've had to repair dash clusters, I could retire. Those flexible PCBs and the bulb holders get oxidized. I'm just shocked the plastic didn't fall into a million pieces after sitting in the scorching hot Texas sun all this time. Speaking of those circuit boards, those were not an "advance" that worked better. It was simply cheaper and faster to assemble. previously, each bulb had a metal socket that was hardwired into the harness. They lasted forever. Wrong idea in a replaceable car, right?

Yeah this one was surprisingly in good shape, maybe the thick dash pad and insulation that was attached to it saved it from the heat?
