I also have the same bike with 1400 miles. It was stored 40 + years. Yes it IS in better condition than this one. Runs like the day it was sold.

A compression test on a two stroke is of limited utility. You are only testing the condition of the head gasket and piston rings. On a two stroke, you need to do a leak down test in order to check the crank seals, and the carb intake seals for air leaks. A 50 year old crank seal is going to fail, which will destroy the engine quickly. Low mileage or a bike that has sat does not help you. A pair of $20 crank seals and a quick rebuild is way better than an engine that fails catastrophically, and requires a full rebuild.
