Thank you for this. I love listening to baseball on the radio. I can't afford to watch it. I was watching your video about Luis Giant in 1975 and that led me to a discussion on the Delphi forums APBA Between the Lines in which people were discussing the 1975 APBA Red Sox pitching grades and how Seitz gifted Lee, Wise and Tiant with B ratings when there stats pointed toward a C rating. Apparently this was done by Seitz to boost their team. Looking up the runs scored and allowed the Red Sox were +87, the Orioles +129 and the Yankees +93

Seitz did that a lot with pennant winning teams. One of the selling points of APBA from its beginnings through the mid-1980s was that the "right" teams would usually finish in first place. Seitz did a similar thing with the fielding ratings, actually. Bad teams had a lot of D pitchers and were usually in fielding 3, while good teams would get the As and Bs and fielding 1.
Umpires (Game 1) (All 6 umpires appeared in their first World Series). HP Art Frantz (AL) (Crew Chief) 1B Nick Colosi (NL) 2B Larry Barnett (AL) 3B Dick Stello (NL) LF George Maloney (AL) RF Satch Davidson (NL)

@@baseballreplayjournalawesome! This is the first classic radio broadcast I’ve listened to and I absolutely loved it. A video with recommendations for other games/series to listen to would be deeply appreciated!
