1976-1977 European Cup: Liverpool FC All Goals (Road to Victory)

All the goals scored by Liverpool FC, winner of the 1976/77 European Cup. Liverpool won the trophy overcoming Crusaders, Trabzonspor, Saint-Étienne, FC Zürich and Borussia Mönchengladbach. That team was coached by Bob Paisley. Kevin Keegan and Phil Neal were the team topscorers, with 4 goals.

I remember watching this live,I was only 8 years old, and although I wasn't a Liverpool supporter,you couldn't help but love this great Liverpool team,I knew it was a big thing for Liverpool to win the European cup. I was at home alone,my mother and father,who have both sadly passed away long ago,were watching it in the pub, which was only 30 seconds from my home,I could see the pub from my house,so I felt safe, everybody knew everybody else, good old days,ha, but I remember when they blew the final whistle, it was like, they've done it, Liverpool have won the European cup,I went out into the street and other people were coming out of their homes and the pub, everyone was celebrating,even though, this was a part of Newcastle, people were happy that Liverpool had won the European cup and were bringing it back to England, after years of German teams winning it, mainly Bayern Munich, but it was great, the start of Liverpool being a great team in Europe,also Nottingham forest won it twice on the bounce,and Aston Villa won it in '82,that was six years straight an English team won the European cup,then in '84 Liverpool again, England truly ruled Europe on the Football Field, what a great time. 👍
