Haha that’s gold right there!!! Love these old comercials. Nothing has changed between now and then other than the technology but people are still testing and trying to make these sleds faster, climb higher and do it more reliably. Great video.

@0:12-0:13 the narrator talking about how smooth this machine rides as the guys head looks like a bobble head and he goes onto say that Charlie has gone the fastest and will probably ever be the fastest..lol. Love these old videos, bring back these good old simple days

The first Pantera was a Pather Chassis. And a 440 Fan. In '76 the Pantera received its own Chassis that would later be the Platform for the ElTigre' to Transition to.

"he also went faster on a snowmobile than anyone ever has and probably ever will!" i think they greatly underestimated how fast sleds could go 17 years later, like the Thundercat 900 with 175hp and the other big triples of the '90s.

I had the Cross Country Cat. 500 cc F/A. A good sled except for the grouser bar track, and F/A motor, Ran like shit over 35 degrees. Still a fun sled to learn on.

The Free Air run awesome the Colder it gets. Sub Zero Air getting sucked into those carbs, and you have a Monster on your hands.
