That seal and bent fork would have stopped many in their "tracks" I'm sure, but not you! It's great to have good mechanical skills. And yeah, there's always expensive setbacks along the way. Like the side toolbox on my trailer that dumped out all my chains, snap binders, coil racks etc. on the highway in Mississippi somewhere yesterday. I'll be in your neck of the woods sometime Tuesday. My first direct customer has another oversize CNC machine to deliver NE of Columbus and have to bring an identical one back to the factory. Round trip paid for! The only snag is they already pushed back my pickup time in Georgia from Monday morning to afternoon as the factory needs more time to finish the machine. So this might be a 4 day trip instead of 3. Keep the videos coming!

When you have a piston leak, do you replace whole piston or take apart to replace the seal? Or if a small leak, let it be until gets worse for the time being?

Lol depends on how much the part is. I do my best to PM my equipment. The dozer is extremely expensive for parts so I kinda roll the dice with it

Do you find it hard to find parts or repair your equipment? I have a S&B Hanix digger, that has loose controllers which isn’t making it work. Trying to find someone who can fix/repair it, I’m sure it’s old gasket leaks probably which is common over time
