This classic car is a rare and limited production, it is extremely low on mileage, as has only 38,000 Miles original. The Elite model is based on the Ford Torino and was produced from 1974-1976, and it is known as the mid size car in the Thunderbird Tradition.
The Elite has an rare 460 cu V8 Engine which is producing 202 horsepower, with top speed of the car 118 mph. Power steering, power breaks, power windows, factory AM - FM Stereo radio, factory air conditioning. Original spare, never used.
This classic drives and rides like new, come out and see what this car is all about.

I call this the prequel affordable Thunderbird. Truly a lovely car that seems even more beautiful now with its round headlights and sleek flowing lines. Puts todays care designers an a bad position when their work is contrasted with this car. Love to have this car!

The body style and interior does remind me of the Thunderbirds of that era.

I owned a new one just like this one same color but fully loaded with power everything. I was 20 years old and styling! Fine looking, fast, and great driving. My girlfriend was so mad when I traded it in on a new 4/4 Ford Flair side Truck. I'd love to have that car back now! ROCK-ON!! Ratman Willy G. of DJ BrassFactor Music.

My first car was a 1976 Ford Elite. I loved that car- super fast because it had monster engine inside coupe body- I never lost a Light Drag. Living room luxury, sport performance- a rolling Fun Factory. Solo cups and green smokes, a huge back seat, everything a 20 something girl could ask for. Great memories...1st love.

You must have raced some slow cars because the most power was from 216hp 460 with decent torque. Maybe a low 17 through the 1/4 mile.

@@davidkastin4240 I had a 75 and at 45,000 cracked a head. It ran hot from new and dealer scratched their head. It was slower than a snail with the 351M and sucked the unleaded at a 1 ton rate. This is one reason I drive Toyota today. Piss poor excuse for a car.

I drove a 1975 model back in High School 79-82, wouldn't win a race with it but it was a smooth riding car and the power steering was so easy you could use a pinky without strain, the AC was cold!. wish i still has this car, also had a 75 Torino but wasn't as nice as the Elite

Henry Ford the second was a secret admire of the Business model philosophy of General Motors this car tells the story it’s a jazzed up Torino and brother to the almost identical Mercury Cougar & Montego vehicles Ford was feeling pressure at the time from Competitors like Monte Carlo GrandPrix Dodge Magnum & Chrysler Cordova Ford Elite was a neat little package that debuted to fill the Gap in the corporate hierarchy the days when Coupes were King of the road

The asking price is not bad, but I don't think he will get it. You always ask for more than you will take. 15k is probably what he will get for it. Nice car, I always thought of these as baby Tbirds.

I wonder if anyone can answer this question. Do Ford or any other car makers reflect upon the appeal of past designs? I wonder what a focus group would have to say about this car with its graceful flowing lines? I guess Ford would rather not face criticism? This reminds me, in a way, of the lines found in certain French cars from the 1930's. Lee was inspired and he understood cars.
