possibly cos Jack got the comm job on merit, and not just because he (or more likely she) fitted the "all inclusive" and woke etc job description as per the current BBC (yeah I know this was ITV but....).

I agree, Peru were relatively an unknown force were any result could have happened but the draw with Iran was unforgivable Scotland simply did not turn up until it was too late when they beat Holland. They have a history of struggling against the teams they should be beating.

Scotland ambition was to reach World Cup finals while England failed as it happen in 74 and the finals was just a journey for them
