THANK YOU!! And no, you're not the only one who likes manual windows better! I DO!! I have an 87 Silverado and have had nothing but trouble with my power window motors! I just bought manual regulators and will be installing them this week. Thank you for making this video and explaining everything so thoroughly.

Did you buy a new track. I’m doing this now and either I bought the wrong regular cause my bottom wheel isn’t going into a track

It's not an easy job, I remember you get the top wheel in through a notch half way along the top horizontal track ( you cant see that notch through the open space work area) ( look along into the door cavity to see that notch )) then slide the outside wheel ( furthest away from the handle ) in the outside or open end of the lower horizontal track( furthest left of the track on drivers side door US ) then you need to coordinate that with the third wheel on the window regulator ) have a look at the video " Part 5 Chevy C 10 door repair 73 - 87 square body truck " on the " milk crate82 " channel, If having problems leave the job for another day and have a rest. Don't remove your fingers ( easy to do with this job ) take care, I have been there, may consider wearing some mechanics gloves, all the best bro

Power sow when u put new rubber don't go up .. sucks. Manual is the way..
