I’ve listened to a LOT of Kashmir bootlegs from 75’ Seattle to 79 Copenhagen, this has to be one of the best performances as Led Zeppelin ever done live. Bonham keeps the beat perfection.

Hard to resist when it comes to Kashmir.. Knebworth '79 was by far the best for me.. Plant sang his heart out on that gig...chills me to the bone.

Yeah, this version is one of the better performances I've heard of this song but it's really hard to beat the Knebworth version.

WOW, what an intro, I never heard Jimmy start Kashmir like that, awesome!
@HardRockMaster75778 жыл бұрын
Yes, it was an awesome way to hear and *see* Kashmir begin in 1977. Jimmy was sitting on a small stool soloing before Kashmir. Just at the end of the solo, Jimmy stands and kicks the small stool backwards, as the crushing opening chords of Kashmir begin. The awesome power of that song in 1977 is simply not reflected on mere audio tapes. It was transcendent. (Sorry for those who could not be there!!!!)

I hear this song now for sixth time and you know, this song is like a drug. You can't get enough! Every version is a bit different but always awesome and full of energy. Such a pity that I can't see them performing live! For me Kashmir is one best songs ever written and behind Kashmir comes "the astronomy divine" from Pink Floyd of the ummagumma live long version! Yes Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd for me. This two songs I can hear all day long! To all of you who were be able to could see them live in this year's. You are blessed to have the chance to see really best performers! As I said, this music is like a drug but in a positive way and level!
