1977 Kombi Resto | This is Smithy

I bought this tired old bus from a mate with the promise to bring her back to life. A father son project followed, teaching Lachy some life skills and just hanging out together on weekends. The end result is Smithy - she’s a part of our life - we travelled WA in her for six months, used her as a daily surf bus and have had days and days of good time cruising in her. She’s in storage now - never to be sold - while we travel in the Ram and Zone. We miss her! There’s something about a bus that gets in your blood.
Who are we?
We’re Daz, Lee & Oz the Aussie Shepherd, living our best salty life travelling Australia in our 2021 DT Ram 1500 & 21’ Zone Sojourn Off Road RV. We’ve packed up our lives on Victoria’s Surf Coast and are searching for sun, sabd & surf. Join us as we follow the sun ☀️
