Okay as was already mentioned the large washer goes between the blade and the stiffened to prevent the longer 21" blade from over flexing. Also to confirm, your mower is a 1976 model year. I have the 19" version model 5274. The on/off switch has been replaced with the incorrect one, part number 679620. Your mower should take part number 681220 which has a longer shaft to bring it up above the shroud top. Also from your video it would appear that you have used a larger filter from an F series. This can cause a problem if the filter is puckered when stuffed into the housing. The correct filter for the D-600 series is 607580. You can also trim the F series filter down a bit with a razor knife. I have several of the D-600 series. They have a very unique sound with the big round muffler.

That’s actually a 1976. 77 decals colors were reversed. White letters on dark green background.

Cool fact. I have a `74, and for this year the decals had metallic based decals. Super hard to find. And replicas are way off.
