Oh, this brings back memories of watching this on Nickelodeon's "Pinwheel". I was always fascinated by the music and how complex the scenes could be, always built with just one shape. Thanks for this upload!

Thanks for uploading! Nice to finally see the entire clip. I’ve only seen brief clips of it online.

This was originally recorded with a Beta recorder in 1977. Obviously, images are not as we're seeing on actual TV's. And not having one of these video converters, this document was produced home made. I'm sorry for the inconveniences; just wanted to share what we were watching in the 70's and all souvenirs thing will bring. I thing Miximetric was produced in France by Films Orzeaux.

Thanks! I remembered this from Nickelodeon’s kids show Pinwheel. There was just something about these Miximetric clips that stayed with me for all of these years. Maybe it was the music or that I was into geometric shapes when I was really young. If you find anymore background information let me know.

Thank you for making this available at least. Used to see this on Nickelodeon's Pinwheel series here in the US. It was nice they were seen over here when such works were very obscure and rare on American TV.

I remember this when I was three years old 45 years ago.

The background music sounds like a electronic organ-fueled carnival.

Just wondering, who created these? Also, how many were done and what show was this created for?

I get the impression these were made to be filler between program breaks.
