In 82, I got a ‘75 Celica. Replaced the breaks, struts, exhaust, & wheels with dish mags.

My second car was a blue 1976 Celica GT Liftback. Wish I still had her.

I had this exact car as my first ride when in I turned 16 in 1986. I miss it. Some day I may buy one again an do a full restoration on it.

Toyota could do no wrong in those days! In the 70s, 80s, and 90s all of their products were awesome! And then something happend in the 2000s.....

I had the same color '76 Toyota Celica GT liftback in high school. I bought mine in 1984. I beat that poor car up and kind of wish I kept it now. It makes me sick that I traded it in for $300 for a Toyota pickup. Should have kept it for that money.

Sounds like an exhaust leak. Any idea where it may be coming from?

probably from the 30 year old muffler. The new owner can have at it. Sold!

The 20R engines were notorious for a leak where the exhaust manifold connected to the exhaust pipe.
