Noice. My second and third bikes were both CB250 Twins (first was a CB250RS.) Had difficulty pulling the skin off a rice pudding, but it sure beat walking. Incidentally, I ended up doing an upgrade to my last one, fitting a later 250 engine with a 6-speed - you can tell them by the lack of kick starter, as there's no room in the case for that and the extra gear.

Thanks for your interest. I first had one of these in 1983. They were pretty common back then in WA. There was also a cb400T which looked identical but with the 400cc. Don’t see many of those these days. They were purpose for the Australian market, as well as many other countries with slight variations in models. In the US they were called the Hawk. This one was in worse condition than yours...but parts are easily available on eBay or David Silver Spares and others. They are a solid reliable and very comfortable classic bike. Many unfortunately, IMO, have been converted to cafe style. Enjoy doing yours up and happy to help with any questions. I have some parts left over as well. Cheers mate.

Right now I haven't got my licence yet but going for it soon, im having trouble transfering the rego online, it says the engine number doesn't match the bike record, but its a orginal engine. What spare parts you got? Thanks

Thankyou for your comments. In its day the 250T was reasonably quick off the mark, but by todays standards its pretty slow. The legal speed limit here in Australia is 110 kmh. It will do that speed, but i need to be riding downhill and with the wind behind me! It will sit comfortably on 90-100 kmh and if you are into these vintage bikes then thats plenty. ciao!
