My dream car. In December 2023 just a few hours before the Christmas parade they had a car show and I saw a red 1978 trans am without the t-tops and the gentleman that owns the car was telling me how he came across it online and I actually have the pictures of the on my phone still from that day and in early 2024 I got to see a light blue 1979 trans am in the parking lot at the store, I wish I had gotten pictures of that one but at least I got to see it up close in person. I love the ford mustang but I have to go with the Pontiac trans am

I love that TA. I had a base station cb radio back in the 70's, and I talked to truckers on it. I also met a lot of new people while I talked on my cb. I typed out a list of the new people that I had met on my cb.

Nice! It was the coolest car, back in the day. I had a '81 Pace Car edition (turbo charged). Turned heads wherever I went. You want 4-wheel disc brakes. I had them and they saved me one time!

I had a 78 as my first car in mid 90’s.. It was a donut machine but nutless.. I think it had the 9 horse Briggs & Stratton with the tooth ferry cam..

My favorite model from Revell when I was a kid was a 1/8 scale model of THIS exact ride. Just a gorgeous car. 1:16 - That has me scratching my head.. this Trans Am has both roll-up and power windows?

Beautiful car. Love that movie also. Cb antenna with no radio, have to have that mic hanging from the rear veiw mirror for sure. Easy fix. Weren't those motors so restricted back then. I always wondered if they put a clean motor those cars to make that movie. Anyway awesome car. Yes please drive it if it last that long.

Bought 76 white with red interior with every option for $5900. Enjoyed it for 76,000, then sold it for $5900 (CB and fire stick included). Great memories. “You got the onewhite lightning, get back, get back!” I’ve been looking for the same. I would jump on this but priced too high. Boo!

Why does it have a 77 style Hurst Hatch T Top if it’s a 1978 ? The 78 and up Trans Am had the newer style T Tops that were bigger.
