I like this series for sure. My ‘75 may need the same treatment even though it’s only at 38k. But this is way above my pay grade. However knowing how it’s done is valuable information.

I couldn't hear you for a lot of this. Microphone problem? I don't know anything about corvette suspension, but I guess that's the rear bearing hub for the rear drive axle. I've seen bearing hubs put on modern cars, and they come pre-assembled, so I guess they do that preload at the factory. I think next weekend is Columbus Day, so you have a 3 day weekend. I have a 7 day weekend every week. 😂😅😂😅 I put one of those Borg Warner 4 speed gear boxes into my 57 Chevy back in 71. I had a couple of wrenches and a flashlight. It was after dark. I don't remember if I even jacked the car up. It was parked beside the driveway. I ended up with a big gaping hole in the tunnel because I got the shifter location wrong. The Hurst shifter is a dog leg that comes up under the bench seat. 😮 That was fun. See ya!

Pretty sure the manual says to do the set up with dry bearings???

I do not recall seeing that in the fsm. Applying load to dry bearings would be a foolish endeavor in my opinion.
