I was there, with my Dad, in the first turn grandstand... A Friday night tradition when he could afford it... Course we raced Saturdays at Saddleback - then there was Indian Dunes and Ascot on a busy schedule... We learned mechanix at an early age - that is if we wanted to win...

At 11:44 Gene Woods did a Helluva Job of missing Boogaloo Bobby, that would have been a nAStY Hit for both riders!!! At 13:58 Hahaha NO SEAT BELTS/NO ROLL BARS!!! hahaha
