1979 BELARUS TRACTOR COLDSTART

This is a coldstart on my 1979 Belarus 520A. The tractor has a 4 cylinder diesel. No starting agents or glow plugs or heat were used. It was 33 degrees out and had not been run in a week.

my grandfather has mtz 52 (not an export version like yours) and it has 2 stroke starting engine, it makes a very cool sound when starting.

"there something wrong with the throttle" is ok. only the engine is cold so the tractor starting hard and he dindt warm engine candle. It makes easy to start.

you really need to use the preheat, I have a 520 and it fires right up. without the preheat you just load up the cylinders with fuel which is not good for it.

I'm surprised it took that long, not hating or anything, geuss some tractors just have a harder time starting, I have an old cockshutt 570 diesel and it starts after 20 or so seconds at -20 celsius or -13 farenheit. But on the other hand I also have an international 434 that has to be plugged in for 2 hours to start at 80 farenheit!

i know much more than you think, i have the same engine on my belarus 820, no heat plugs, just checked diesel high pressure pump and engine has only 500h on it. Starts even in winter in minus degrees

MTZ aren`t suited for low rpm, especially, when worm....

your 1000 hrs is notfin, i drive mtz 80 which has from 2000 to 3000 hrs and starts even better then this

apparently you dont know shit about diesel motors and how hard it can be to start them without glow plugs - those tractor are made in belarus where it is cold as hell and are know to start great in cold weather enviroments
