Great video. It seems to be the exact set-up as on the 850, with minor differences to the lines. Must have been a Fiat standard. This will be very helpful as I'm doing my calipers now.

The before pictures are in the diff drop video. I spent a full minute trying to get that brake housing group off. I'll try some blasting video when I clean up the front brakes.

thanks for sharing this video. I am in the middle to rebuilding the front brakes on my 78 and wanted to ask you what's the best way to replace the seal on the caliper piston?. I got a set from a vendor but there are two different kind of seals: one with a raised edge; another one flat. You wouldn't happen to have a video about how to do it? thank you

No, I cheated and just bought new calipers. Should be pretty straightforward once it's apart. Pop that piston out with some air. There is a groove in there for the seal. I think the raised edge would go on top and act as a dust seal. Some 2000 grit sandpaper may help cleaning off the piston

you need high temp silicon brake grease on slides (per manufactures manual anyway) it will be a service item

Thought about that, but the grease collects dust and grime. I'll just remove and polish the slides as a service item.

Should those sliders be greased or do they go on dry?

I'm not sure yet. I polished these for less friction. My thoughts are grease will accumulate brake dust resulting in more friction.

Is that Harbor Freight red powder coat?

It is POR-15, Safety Red paint. Painted on with a brush.

I bought a quart, for brakes, springs and other parts. I think you could get a pint and cover all the brake parts.

Where is the part of the video that has all of the sandblasting? I give this video a 7 out of 10 due to its lack of sandblasting. And maybe some before and after pictures too.
