1979 Ford F100 Flareside

1979 Ford F100 Flareside with original straight 6 inline, 3 speed transmission, added Flowmaster muffler, factory AC, sitting on 20" Boss Wheels. It took me over 5 year to get it to this point. It's not perfect, but it's perfect for me.

I bought a brand new 1980 style side f150 300 c.i. 6 cyl. 4 speed it got 20 MPG empty or loaded! Had it repainted, and lost it in a Divorce! I sure miss that truck!

Hola Jesús José, si el cajón es original. Son un poco más escasas pero así salieron, de casi medio millon de F100 nada mas como 3,000 fueron hechas asi. Les llama cajón California en México, aquí en Estados Unidos (Flareside) en inglés. Saludos para Venezuela.

I have a '77 Flareside that I have had for several years and am beginning to work on. Can you give me the details of the back bumper and brackets you used? I like how close it is to the truck and I cannot find a replacement for anything beyond '72.

I had the brackets custom made because I wanted the bumper as close as possible to the bed and that was the only way to achieve it. Anyone that can weld can create some for you. Good luck!

Great build man, I just started a 74 resto and I've got a couple questions. What flowmaster model, what floor shift adapter did you use, and what material is that headliner. Thank you and God Bless Texas.

The flowmaster is a 44 series. It was one the muffler shop thought would work well for a 6inline. The floor shiftter is an O'Reilly Auto Parts shiftter. The headliner is a regular Walmart flag with padding on the back. I had an upholstery shop do the work. Good luck on your build and please share your video, would love to see it.
