My dad had a 78 sierra that was on tough truck and my dad did landscaping when I was a kid he would stack trees in the bed of the truck,hitch up the trailer and put trees on the trailer along with a tractor!!

I like hearing people complain about prices of new trucks- but then you see the "Baseball glove" leather, heated & cooled seats, sunroof, internet connectivity, infotainment system, 22" wheels...yeah!

@ianfitch3898 I only buy used trucks, nothing crazy because I don't need one for work or daily. My nicest is the one I have now. '99 F350 crew cab. 4wd, Warn bumper/winch (ex ranch truck). Got it for 1/2 book, re-did a ton, and paint. Is it perfect? No. Is it presentable, reliable & solid? Yup. My investment, in total, is under $20k, too

Ive had 6 square body chevy trucks to date. They make a really good platform to build off of. Ive since been bit by the gmt400 bug. My current project is a 89 k3500 454/4speed 4x4.
