Here's my 1979 Kenworth K100 Aerodyne in the spray booth during the paint process. Next will be clear coat, colour sand and polish....then home for reassembly and completion. Check out the entire project from start to current status at:

This what I love and miss about the trucks of the 70's and 80's. ! They had great paint schemes and styling that the trucks of today lack.

I owned one for 11 years and loved it...mine was white but I love the classic paint work....cab overs are very popular in Australia

They surely are -- due to length restrictions on B-doubles and Super B-doubles -- but these are being relaxed now. Cabovers are still VERY popular due to the fact that they have EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN A COMPACT PACKAGE.

Amazing that this truck had to be restored ------------ they are a dime a dozen -- (so to speak) - out here in the Land Downunder. The paint scheme is very reminiscent of Australian highway trucks in the 890's. And we are right hand drive to -- just what our Pommy friend needs.

And I am also very happy that you do a stock resto on this one, not too many of those around and certainly not of this caliber! Because the overall length law was extended making the cab over obsolete in America. You see them all over Europe

Come to the Land Downunder ------------- probably 50% of long haul trucks are cabovers and most of those are Kenworths. Then you have your Freightliner Argosy's and your Volvos and Scanias but the KW cabover predominates.

Hi oiljerk, Thanks ! Oh yes she has an original visor fitted, it was painted separately.
