In 1988 my Dad was selling our house. His realtor had a 79 T C in canary yellow inside and out. My Dad told him to let him drive his car. Dad was gone about 10 minutes. When he came back,( being an avid Ford of any kind hater), said now thats one fine riding car, ill admit thats nice, ( for a dam Ford😊) !

Lol! Listen, I am a big GM fan, in particular, Cadillacs. I have to say, the Lincoln is clearly a better ride with visually better quality interiors.

Honestly I would take the 36,000 mile driver with fresh beautiful paint over a trailer Queen part of the enjoyment of these cars is driving them and letting others appreciate their size and comfort.

A dream car for a buyer that wants one they are not affraid to put a few miles on. The working antenna is a bonus and the clock will show the right time twice a day! All you need is a chauffers suit and hat and the car will pay for itself. How about a remake of "Pretty Woman", this is the perfect car🙂👍💞

My deceased wife had a 79 sedan, crystal apricot exterior. Beautiful car, drove like a living room. Big, soft, almost relaxing.

My favorite was the 77 Lincoln Mark, light jade luxury group with Versailles plush interior, light jade paint, light jade landau vinyl top. The moon roof had a green tint to it too. Local dealer had on the showroom floor back then but way out of my price range then

Lol,, they don't all do it, I've seen a couple of yours recently where the bushings were visibly intact though if they're original and intact they won't last long.. Hopefully whatever you order fits well,, it used to never be an issue but the last time I bought some Dorman's ten plus years ago the bushings were oversized and wouldn't work..@@christianbugatticg

Mmmm not so sure about that, as within the last 18 months I DID have a couple that functioned properly. Is it just THIS particular CB or all CB's??? Because the other CB's that I KNOW worked were also factory Lincoln CBs. Thanks!

400? I thought Lincolns had a 460? Looks smooth nonetheless.

They comes with 400 with 460 as an option.

Yes optional, but in 1979 you could only get the 400. Plenty of torque!
