Matt Dalton is a multi-instrumentalist with a storied background in music. Matt started his journey in music at age 9 learning guitar, drums and how to sing. By age 13 he was self producing demo recordings in a home studio.
Matt has been involved in many parts of the music industry over his 30+ year career. As a musician, Matt toured as Craig Owens' guitar player (Chiodos, D.R.U.G.S., Cinematic Sunrise, BadxChannels) alongside Nick Martin (Sleeping With Sirens) as well as fronting and producing his own bands LeFT (Medea Records) and Arizing (Medea Records).
Behind the scenes, Matt has been a music producer who worked with artists like Smile Empty Soul, I See Stars, The Suicide Machines, Chiodos, even earning a Grammy recognition from his work with solo artist Allie Fox.
Matt has also toured the world with acts like Kidz Bop Live, Van's Warped Tour, Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) where he provided FOH sound engineering and other production skills.
From 1999 to 2016 Matt owned and operated one of Michigan's largest and most successful independent music festivals (Dirt Fest) which helped launch the career of many local acts and hosted some of today's most well known artists in both their early stages and at the top of their careers.
Now, Matt is focused on taking his musicianship, technical know-how and live-event disciplines to this solo project: a modern day live-looping one man band act that has the feel and energy of a full band. Matt's wide variety of influences shines through as he takes on songs from Tom Petty to Eminem and everything in between.
Matt performs 3 hours of non-stop music live in venues often, typically around his home state of Michigan and neighbor Ohio. The shows are livestreamed, so please tune in! Live stream rehearsals are also on Twitch.
